What a gem. We discovered this family owned restaurant near our vacation/part time home and can't wait to go back! The prices are crazy low, the restaurant is clean and the food is just good old fashioned home cooking (but better than my home cooking!) :) the have something for everyone and as someone who eats low carb/low sugar it's a miracle. You also can get some cinnamon buns that look to die for as well so quite a range!! CASH ONLY

This place has the look, feel and prices of an old diner. Everything is a little sticky with syrup, our family of four (2 of them toddlers) ate for less than $12. Pancakes and muffin were good. We had to wait a while for a seat and again for our food. I like that they had toys and kids silverware, but all had seen better days.

A perfect find on our way through the cities! Old family style diner with all the best breakfast classics! Pancakes are the size of your dinner plate and so light and fluffy!!

First time here, great experience. Simple food done well. My four egg omelette had to have had six eggs in it. It was huge! I couldn't finish it and I have a hearty appetite. They didn't skimp on the filling and the toast was generously saturated with butter. They serve Coke products and offered a paper straw (a new one with each refill so it didn't get all soggy). Service was quick and friendly. It sure has a diner feel; dishes and silverware clanking in a relaxed atmosphere. I would for sure visit again for breakfast and I want to try to lunch. Oh CASH ONLY.

This is one of the best breakfast places I've been to in Minnesota for several reasons:
- it's super cheap. You can get three, massive fluffy pancakes for $3.90. The combo dishes are also huge and offer lots of customization and options. A meal for 2, where each got pancakes, eggs, cheese, hash browns, bacon, and unlimited coffee was only $18!
- they only accept cash. Don't come with cards because they won't take them.
- they've been around for a long time. The interior is so awesome and stuck in the past. Wood paneling and old booths and counter tops give off a lot of character. Awesome and funny signs also line the walls so while you're waiting for your food, be sure to read them all!
- it works on an honor system. There's no hostess to add you to a list. So when you arrive in the morning and it's busy, you have to tell the other people waiting that you're the last one in and people will look out for tables for each other.
- waiting for food may take a while. The place gets very busy and feeds a lot of people, so once you put in your order, you will be waiting a while. But don't worry, it's totally worth it.
- the eggs are fluffy and fresh. You can tell this place uses fresh farm eggs. And they don't shy away from giving you a lot of scrambled eggs! For the first time I couldnt finish all my eggs because there was a lot.
- hash browns are crispy. If you love crispy hash browns then this is just the place for you. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
